Once Don Bradman had reckoned Tendulkar to be the closest thing to himself at the crease. On this tour New Zealand crowds have seen two demonstrations of his capabilities, a sizzling 163 off 133 balls in an ODI in Christchurch and now a superb 160.

And again little master Sachin Tendulkar made every Indians proud by reaching his 42nd test hundred against NewZealand in the ongoing test series at Seddon park and dedicated to the cause of tiger conservation,
because that is what right from the start of this tour the whole team had decided.

So I would dedicate this one to tiger conservation.
On the eve of the first Test, Tendulkar had supported the cause, expressing his concerns at the dwindling numbers of tigers in India.

At the start of the century, there were nearly 40,000 tigers in India. Today, that number has shrunk to 1,700 and we are losing at least one tiger a month. The rate at which the tiger is being hunted down is alarming. Tendulkar had said.

Sachin quotes ..... Towards the end I was hopeful I would be able to get it (200) if I stayed there to the 50th over, it was in the vicinity.

    Simple Brilliance.....

He himself was a tiger today. They way he prowled and slaughtered the balls today were awesome.

The simple positive attitude he showed today was just amazing. He is just untamable when he is like this and this is why I love ya mate :)

Sachin is awesome. I hope he scores a triple ton soon. I know we indian fans are greedy but am sure Sachin has it in him to do it.
